Proving its manifesto in excellence, UM Tagum College, represented by student-journalists of Collegium, its official student publication, sealed two awards in the 4th International Convention on Student Affairs and Services organized by the Transforming Advocates and Champions (TRAC) Philippines Inc., on October 2-4, 2024 in Venus Parkview Hotel, Baguio City. Collegium bagged the second runner up in the Organization Facebook Page competition, serving as a manifestation of its continuous commitment to delivering quality content and conflict-sensitive reportage. Meanwhile, Ivan Alviso, Collegium Senior Illustrator and Former Arts Editor clinched third place in the poster-making competition in the said event. Other Editorial Board and Staff also participated in the said international convention, including Senior Photojournalist, Janine Goles and News Editor, Nathazsa Ashley Papas. Moreover, the prestigious event highlighted resource speakers with extensive background and expertise according to the event's theme, "Navigating the Digital Landscape in Student Affairs and Services for Empowered Leaders," allowing its delegates from 38 schools in the Philippines to escalate their knowledge and skills in student affairs.
