Rules and Regulations

There are over _____ videotapes and DVDs in the collection available. The feature films collection includes classic cinema and foreign films and subtitles.


THE FOLLOWING RULES AND REGULATIONS WILL HAVE TO BE OBSERVED BY ALL USERS OF THE FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT IN THE SPEECH LABORATORY.


  • Only students who are officially enrolled in English 3 can avail of the facilities in the Speech Laboratory.
  • Students who failed to attend the general orientation regarding the use of the facilities should see the Speech Laboratory In-charge before being allowed to touch anything.
  • Students who may cause damage to the equipment shall be held liable and therefore be charged the amount to pay for the damage part(s) of the equipment.
  • Students should not be allowed to go out from the room unless very necessary so that the class will not be disturbed.
  • Students caught vandalizing shall be dealt with accordingly.
  • Students are not allowed to smoke in the Speech Laboratory.
  • Eating and drinking are not allowed in the Speech Laboratory.
  • Silence and Cleanliness must be observed by everyone while inside the Speech Laboratory.

DO’S AND DONT’S DURING THE USE OF HEADPHONES:


Do's


• Check your headphone before using it.

• Report immediately to the technician when something is wrong with the equipment.

• Before putting on the headphone, open the volume to 5 or 6.

• Press the call button when you have problem on reception.

• Set back volume to zero before putting back the headphone in place.


Dont's


• Do not tinker or play with the gadgets,(consollete, volume, call button and wiring).

• Do not touch the headphone when not in use.

• Do not bang the headphone when returning in place.

• Do not put the microphone too close to the wall of your booth.
