Audio Visual Center (see Gallery Facilities)

The Audio-Visual Center is located at the GET Building Second floor of the library. The center accommodates 100 persons for both instruction and entertainment. The uses to which the center is put include:


  • Projection/Viewing
  • Slideshow
  • VHS Showing
  • Drama
  • Arts
  • Musical
  • Literary
  • Conferences
  • Seminars

Video Collection

There are over _____ videotapes and DVDs in the collection available. The feature films collection includes classic cinema and foreign films and subtitles.


Fiction and non-fiction collection includes documentaries, literary adaptations, National Geographic and Shakespeare Plays.


Requesting & Scheduling Materials

  • Requests are processed between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. daily.
  • Fill out a Service request form at the Audio Visual Center.
  • Students are allowed to view any program and use materials in the AVR. It is best for students to request materials at least 2 days in advance to ensure that the program is available.

Viewing Room/Facilities

The viewing room has limited to accommodate viewing of VHS, DVD,CD formats, but the facilities are adequate to provide the needs of the students and allowed them to borrow the said requests. These facilities are available on a first come-first serve basis.


Audio Visual Center Policies

  • Instructional-related activities are given priority in the use of AVR Room. Reservations, however, shall be made at least two (2) days before the schedule use.
  • Being class-oriented, the activities should follow the regular class period observed in the college department. This is to avoid unnecessary disruption in the class schedule of the succeeding users. It must be understood that this AVR is for the sole purpose of viewing and not as a classroom, subject to submission of the request from the designed for the purpose.
  • Class users are advised not to utilize materials which would go beyond their regular class period nor shall they activities that disrupt class schedule.
  • Class users are encouraged to use the audiovisual collection. Materials taken from outside sources need endorsement from the Program Head such materials shall be evaluated by the AV in-charge at least 2 days in advance based on such qualification as technical compatibility and time duration.
  • Person or official representative requesting for the use of Audio Visual Room must be responsible and knowledgeable of the nature of the activity and must provide a copy of PROGRAM whenever available.
  • Reservation of AVR is on”first come first served basis” if cases that there’s an institutional activities, they have to shift to another place.
  • Audio Visual Room is opened for service from Mondays to Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and from 12:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., for Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. 12:00 noon only.
  • Service Request Form not forwarded to the AV personnel within 2 days before the scheduled activity shall be considered cancelled.
  • Requesting organization using pre-recorded tapes, phono record or other electronic devices are required to coordinate with Audio Visual Staff.
  • Personal VHS tapes should be previewed first before viewing.
  • Eating and smoking are strictly prohibited inside the AV Room.
  • Users should arrange chairs and furniture back to their proper places after using.

   Violation or infraction of AV policy shall not be excused on the plea of ignorance.
