Admission Requirements

Admission of FRESHMEN

A Student seeking admission to any collegiate department of the school must be a graduate of any public or private secondary school recognized by the government.


Applicants for admission to any collegiate department of the school should present the following credentials:


High School Graduate
  • High School Report Card (Form 138)
  • Certificate of Good Moral Character from the School where he/she graduated.
  • Birth Certificate – Authenticated by NSO
  • Barangay/Purok Clearance
  • 1½ x 1½ ID picture

College Level/College Graduate
  • Certificate of Honorable Dismissal
  • Transcript pf Records/SPR for Evaluation
  • Certificate of Good Moral Character
  • 1½ x 1½ ID picture
  • Birth Certificate – Authenticated by NSO
  • Barangay/Purok Clearance
  • Marriage Contract (for married female) NSO - Authenticated


Admission for BSN Students

Incomming First Year
  • High School Report Card (Form 138)
  • Certificate of Good Moral Character from the School where he/she graduated and from the Barangay of her/his residence.
  • Birth Certificate – Authenticated by NSO
  • Barangay/Purok Clearance
  • 2 x 2 ID picture (2 pcs.)
  • Medical Certificate
  • Chest X-ray
  • CBC
  • Urinalysis
  • Fecalysis

College Level/College Graduate
  • Certificate of Honorable Dismissal
  • Transcript of Records/SPR Evaluation
  • Certificate of Good Moral Character
  • Purok Clearance
  • 2 x 2 ID picture (3 pcs.)
  • Birth Certificate - Authenticated by NSO
  • Medical Certificate
  • Ches X-ray
  • CBC
  • Urinalysis
  • Fecalysis


Admission of TRANSFER STUDENTS

Transfer student who desires to study in UM Tagum College should submit the following credentials:


  • Certificate of Honorable Dismissal
  • Transcript of Records/SPR for Evaluation
  • Certificate of Good Moral Character
  • Birth Certificate – Authenticated by NSO
  • Barangay/Purok Clearance
  • 1½ x 1½ ID picture
  • MarriageContract - NSO authenticated (for married female)


Admission to the Graduate School

Applicants for admission to the Graduate Studies must have completed the course leading to any Bachelor’s Degree.


The Admission of students for the master’s degree program shall be subject to the following conditions:


  • To submit a recommendation from the former professor or supervisor to the office of the program director of the graduate school.
  • To take psychological test administered by the College Guidance Center.
  • To have a personal interview with the Program Head
  • To submit the following to the Records and Admission Center
    • Certificate of Transfer Credential
    • Transcript of Records
    • Marriage Contract ( if married)

Additional Admission Requirements (per program) to the Graduate School

Master of Arts in Education (MAED)
  • Must be a graduate of any education program
  • If he or she is not a graduate of any education program, he or she must have earned 24 units in professional education
  • Certificate of Transfer Credential
  • Transcript of Records
Master of Management (MM)
  • Must be a graduate of any business program or must have 12 units of management subjects or with 5 years supervisory experience
  • Certificate of Transfer Credential
  • Transcript of Records
Master of Business Administration (MBA)
  • Must be a graduate of any business program or must have 12 units of management subjects or with 5 years supervisory experience
  • Certificate of Transfer Credential
  • Transcript of Records
Master of Public Administration (MPA)
  • Must be a graduate of any 4-year program provided he/she is working in any government agency
  • Certificate of Transfer Credential
  • Transcript of Records


Admission of Students Enjoying Educational Benefits (see Scholarship Programs)

Students who are grantees/beneficiaries of any college plans/scholarships can be admitted to the College provided they meet the basic admission requirements and provided further that they present duly accomplished and approved scholarship papers upon enrollment.
