The Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communication Engineering is a 5-year college program which focuses on the conceptualization, design, and development of electronic, computer and communication products, systems, services, and processes.
In comparison with BS Electrical Engineering, which deals with the general aspect of design and development of electrical equipment, such as power generators and electric motors, BS Electronics and Communication Engineering is a branch of Electrical Engineering which focuses on the study of design and development of Electronic equipment such as semiconductors and transmitters for use in distant communication.
The Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering is a program designed to provide comprehensive knowledge and skills in the technology of electricity, design and applications of circuitry and power generation and distribution equipment, and lastly, machine communication and control. It aims to produce graduates who are competent, ethical, and responsible to work on research, control systems, any type of circuitry, physical electronics, and computer aided design and power systems.
The Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering program is a combination of electrical engineering and computer science. Its curriculum provides students with a foundation in basic science, mathematics, software design, and engineering. The program equips students with the ability to analyze, plan, design, install, operate, and maintain digital devices and computer hardware and software systems.
